1. Information we collect

When you register for Hisaabkar, we collect your business name, owner name, email address, contact number, and any address information you choose to provide. As you use the service, we also store the invoices, customers, products, payments, and other business records you create.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate and maintain your account, process subscription payments, deliver service-related emails (verification, password reset, billing receipts), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Data security

Passwords are stored with bcrypt hashing. Authentication uses short-lived access tokens with httpOnly refresh cookies. Communication with the service runs over HTTPS in production deployments.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support reactivation, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support.

5. Cookies

We use cookies only for session management (refresh token) and remembering your UI preferences (theme, sidebar state). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate information, or account deletion at any time by opening a support ticket from your dashboard.
