We started Hisaabkar because too many good businesses were still running their books out of Excel sheets, WhatsApp receipt screenshots and paper ledgers — losing hours every week and losing track of who owed what.
Spreadsheets don't stop you from double-entering a customer, and they definitely don't tell you which invoice a payment should apply to. WhatsApp receipts get lost in the chat history. Paper ledgers can't be searched, backed up, or shared with your accountant in a click. None of it scales past a handful of customers.
Hisaabkar started as a simple invoicing tool for a handful of trading companies in Lahore. The one feature that made it stick was FIFO payment allocation — apply a payment once, and let the software figure out which invoices it clears, oldest first, every time. Everything since has been built the same way: solve a real problem, in plain Urdu or English, without extra clicks.
