Setting up a custom role

Last updated 24 June 2026

If the default roles (admin, manager, staff) don't match how your team actually works, you can create a custom role:

  1. Go to Settings → Team → Roles and click New Role.
  2. Give it a name (for example, "Floor Supervisor" or "Cashier").
  3. For each module (invoices, customers, products, payments, reports, and so on), choose which actions the role can perform — view, create, edit, or delete.
  4. Save the role, then assign it to any team member from Settings → Team.

Custom roles let you grant exactly the access a job needs — for example, a role that can create invoices and view stock, but has no access to financial reports or user management.
